PowerGo plans an ultra-rapid EV charging site called R3-Támbora (Dir. Norte) in Támbora, ES. The station will have four charging points, all equipped with CCS (Type 2) connectors. It is designed for a peak power output of 400 kW. EV charging in Támbora will be expanded with this facility once it is operational.
Four hundred kilowatts of peak power can add about 200 miles of range to a compatible EV in under 20 minutes, depending on the vehicle's charging speed and battery level. This makes it a suitable stop for drivers needing a quick recharge on longer journeys, rather than for routine local charging. The station is currently planned for a future date.
